Connecting with Our Communities - Chief Constable Mr Sandall |
We are pleased to share that our Chief Constable recently visited the East Leicester Belgrave beat, alongside PC Thomas (1327), as part of our ongoing commitment to strengthening local engagement and maintaining visible policing within our communities. The visit provided a valuable and meaningful opportunity to meet residents, business owners, and families from across the area. Conversations were held with people of all ages, allowing officers to listen, share updates, and better understand what matters most to those who live and work in the community. Encouragingly, all interactions were positive and welcoming. No concerns were raised during the visit, which is a testament to the strong community spirit and the positive relationships that continue to grow between local people and their neighbourhood policing team.
🤝 Building Trust and Strong RelationshipsMoments like these are at the heart of neighbourhood policing. By spending time in the community and engaging in open, honest conversations, we are able to build trust, strengthen partnerships, and ensure that local voices are heard. We remain committed to being approachable, visible, and responsive—working together with residents to keep our communities safe, supportive, and connected. ✅ Your Community MattersYour views, experiences, and ideas are incredibly important to us. Whether you have a concern, a suggestion, or simply want to learn more about the work we’re doing locally, we are always here to listen and support you. One of the best ways to stay in touch is by attending one of our regular Beat Surgeries. These sessions provide a relaxed and informal setting where you can speak directly with your local officers, ask questions, and share any issues or ideas you may have.
